Work Center, AI Teams, and chats
Work Center
The Work Center brings your AI work into one place. Its main visual view is Overview, where you can see Active work and your Goals.
A goal is an outcome you want to move forward. A Check is a repeatable review point for work that matters. Use Instant Chat when you want to start a conversation immediately without first setting up a longer piece of work.
Internally, the Work Center is implemented by IntelligenceCenter; this name is for maintainers, not normal product language.
AI Team
An AI Team is a reusable setup for the ways you work with AI. It can hold roles, AI profiles, and playbooks, so useful working patterns are ready to use again.
Internally, an AI Team is a Guild.
Role
A Role defines a recurring kind of AI work, such as research, writing, review, or implementation. A role can provide instructions, select an AI profile, reference playbooks, and make tools or optional features available.
A role is not one work item. It is a reusable setup for a kind of work. Internally, it is a Duty.
AI Profile
An AI Profile shapes how AI works across roles. It can set a persona, preferred model settings, playbooks, tools, and optional features. A role adds the instructions for its particular kind of work.
Internally, an AI Profile is a Hero.
Playbook
A Playbook is reusable Markdown guidance for AI. Attach one to an AI Profile for broad guidance, or to a Role for instructions that apply only to that kind of work.
Internally, a Playbook is a Guidebook.
Devices
Devices connect Verset to the environments where work happens, such as a computer with its files, terminal, or browser. Internally, this connection is called a Probe.
Chat
A chat is the saved context for an AI conversation and its work. It can keep messages, threads, working context, and links to the work it was started from.
Iterator
An iterator identifies the AI model used for a run. A preset can pair a model with settings such as effort. An AI Profile may use the AI Team default or override it.
Shellware
Shellware provides tools that AI can use during a task, such as reading files, editing files, searching, or using a browser. A Role or AI Profile can make shellware available when the required environment is attached.
Attunement
An attunement is an optional feature bundle for AI behavior. It can add instructions, tools, and related interface support. For example, the thinking attunement enables hidden reasoning blocks and their display.
